Beginning and Expanding Farmer Loan Program (Aggie Bond)
Business Oregon
A lower-rate loan through your own lender: the lender pays no income tax on the interest and can pass the savings to you. Up to $520,000, and it can be used to buy farmland (new buildings and equipment up to $250,000, used equipment or other used depreciable property up to $62,500). You must live in Oregon, have a net worth of $750,000 or less, work the farm yourself, and never have owned or run a farm bigger than 30% of your county's median farm size. Find a willing lender first, then apply to Business Oregon.
